Chocolate box

 Hello and welcome back to my blog 

For maths this week we have been making nets .

The first thing we had to do was pick a mystery box out of a bag that was filled with all different types of chocolate or biscuits

when we found out what we had we had to draw a net on a piece of paper and take a photo of it .

Then we had to cut out the net and make it into a box that would fit the chocolate in it

for the past few weeks for inquiry we have been learning about our culture. 

For one of the tasks about culture we had to research about what it was like in the past, and what it is like now for many different things . One of the things we had to find out was about what the tattoos were like when you got them in the past and when you get them now.

we had to write down and describe two characters that you will used when we write our children's book 

we had to read the book the cat in the hat and then we hat to write about the protagonist and the antagonist and what they did that showed that they were the protagonist and antagonist .

Rocket

For this terms inquiry we had to make a rocket out of a plastic bottle,  card  and other materials 

We also had to make a video that explains how we made it and what rules do you have to follow to make a rocket.

ISS module

 Hey bloggers

For my literacy task we had to make an ISS module.

If you don't know what the ISS module is it is used to get research about many things in space like to research about planets,stars and satellites and many more things . if you don't know what the ISS stands for it stands for  the international space station.

We had to add on  to the ISS module and make different things to do when you are in space so that you wouldn't get  bored .                                                                                                                                       we made this on mine craft  I added a bedroom, kitchen and a room to grow fresh fruit.

For this week in literacy we had to make an experiment about flight  

I chose to do an experiment to see how the weight effects how the plane flies .

I started by making a paper plane and seeing how far it flies then i added a paper clip to see if that would change how far it would fly .

For one of our tasks on a Wednesday we had to create a plan to feed 4 people with a budget on $170.
We had to plan everything we eat for a whole week  including breakfast ,lunch and dinner . Hannah and I  made up a budget of $60 for dinner for the week ,$60 for lunch for the week  and  $50 for lunch .  If there is anything you thing i could change please comment down below .
